FROZEN OPEN TOURNAMENT Please join me in congratulating Henry Braun, Sergei Miller, Henry Braun, Jonathan Pomerantz and Riggs Bonnes for their participation in this weekend's chess tournament. I REALLY want to encourage you all to consider sending your kids to this tournament, especially if they've never been to one before. This is a great introductory tournament, includes a lot of kids with limited backgrounds in chess, is free, doesn't require your own chess set, and even includes free lunch. PLEASE reserve time on your calendar for it and I'll send out more details next week. I would love to have a huge Burroughs contingent at that event. However, if another parent would like to lead another team to the SCA Statewide Tournament, let me know and I'll help arrange that.
